Sarah Hammoud (she/her)

Sarah is a third year Honours Health Science student and a Research Practicum Student in the ALA CoP lab. She is interested in exploring Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion within research environments, with a focus on increasing access and representation of underrepresented and marginalized groups. This includes understanding systemic barriers in healthcare and education, promoting inclusive research practices, and ensuring that diverse perspectives are actively valued and incorporated into research design and implementation. Outside of the lab, you can find Sarah volunteering with children who have physical or neurocognitive disabilities, traveling to new places, spending quality time with my family, and staying active through exercise.
