Kristen Yee (she/her)
Kristen is a fourth year Honours Kinesiology student and a Thesis Student in the ALA CoP lab. She is interested in how cultural beliefs, race, and ethnicity shape gender differences in physical activity among immigrant populations. Her research focuses on first- and second-generation immigrants, exploring how identity and cultural background impact access, motivation, and participation in health-related practices. Outside of the lab, you can find Kristen going on side quests with friends, playing sports like basketball, football, and snowboarding, listening to music, and chasing sunsets!
