Jhanvi Panchal (she/her)
Jhanvi is a fourth year Honours Kinesiology student and a Thesis Student in the ALA CoP lab. She is interested in EDI topics that focus on inclusion and accessibility in health and wellness. She cares about understanding how people from marginalized communities experience barriers to participating in activities that support their wellbeing, and how programs can be designed to create a stronger sense of belonging and equitable access for everyone. Outside of the lab, you can find Jhanvi rollerblading, going to the gym, and traveling. Staying active through fitness helps me feel healthy, energized, and manage stress in a positive way. I enjoy traveling because it allows me to explore new cultures, try different foods, and take part in unique experiences like hiking, snorkeling, and other adventures with my family and/or friends.
